Building a hexapod robot

Here is my micromagic/openservo hexpod (as yet unnamed) build log

I am building a hexapod robot based on Micromagic systems hex chassis MSR-H01

The goals are:

  • Use a master control board to drive 18 + OpenServos on a hexpod robot. Possibly use a Beagleboard.
  • write a Player compatible framework for the master hex controller.
  • Write a Stage/Gezebo plugin for visualising the data on the host.
