I recently had the fortune of upgrading my old phone from a Jornada928WDA to a shiny new XDA2s.
I am going to put a few comments down regadrding my experience of this PDA over the last few months.

Style, form and function
On first receiving the XDA2s (XDA from now) I couldn't help but be impressed with its high quality feel, and its overall design. This is a very stylish phone with many, many features. I will summarise some of the features below.

Features:

Integrated phone

Integrated quad band GSM telephone, with full MMS and SMS capability

Camera and multimedia

The phone has a 800x600pixel resolution camera, along with full integrated MMS messaging.

PDA functionality

Full 320x240 screen resolution. Touch screen display, and a very effective backlight.

Keyboard!

This device has a slide down QWERTY keyboard, fully functional and nicely backlit. It is a please to type with this keyboard, but it does not lend well to one handed typing, as the height of the device moves it centre of gravity too high to comfortably use.

I say nearly, as I still have probems with Tomtom5 GPS routing software, but I will dwell on this later

I have not had any problems with the phone, apart from the need to reboot it occassionally (about 3 times so far) due to randomly locking up.

Month two:
Okay... I've had this amazing phone for 2 months now, and I still have few problems. The screen is still high contrast, and the keyboard still works very well. I have found a couple of OS related issues that I would like addressed at a later date, namely the wifi manager and bluetooth support.
Wifi has major problems relating to the connection strength, even when standing very near to the wifi access point. Bluetooth is very buggy, and has awful/unusable sound quality on the bluetooth headset.
At this point, with my having the need to a lot of driving, I really need to get the bluetooth headset working to a level where I can actually talk to someone without sounding like I am in some kind of wind tunnel, or a plastic bag.

I decided to get a new flash rom for the phone, which supposedly fixes the bluetooth issues to some extent. XDA developers
The flash seemed to go okay, and the bluetooth sound quality is a little better, but not really what I would call ideal. I figured out that if I put the PDA near to my head, I can hear the person - but this seems to make the whole bluetooth completely useless.

Month three:
Things seemed to go very well for about a week using the new ROM, no weird issues, and after a little tweaking, the sound of bluetooth improved a bit.

After about two weeks I started to have very strange problems. The XDA locked up somehow while not being used, more than once. On each occasion, the XDA had its screen on, and the battery was completely drained within a couple of hours (before I even noticed). This meant restoring all my data from backups (lucky I made them).

Another strange recurring problem has arisen... when Ianswer the phone, no one can hear what I am saying, whether that is using bluetooth or the built in mic. The only way I have found of fixing this is a soft reboot. Obviously you lose the call, and you cant make another call for about 1 -2 minutes.

The time is now
Its today. i have used my XDA for 4 months now, with a very positive result. it has helped make me more productive, and also (slightly) more organised. It also doubles as a video player, and a gameboy
